Getting Old Sucks - As Far As I Can Remember - Part 1

 Here's a little info -
The brain is like a muscle: Use it or lose it. Today's research offers evidence showing that taking steps to protect your brain can prevent a decreased memory and slowed wit. Mental exercise is crucial. It begins when we are children and it is never too late to stimulate the brain. Reading, doing crossword puzzles, playing board games, handicrafts, and even doing some of the internet games will stimulate the brain to think.   This stimulation has proven to help slow down the progress of dementia amongst the elderly.  There are studies that show that cognitive training is able to improve reasoning, memory, language and hand eye co-ordination of healthy, older adults. This type of training, which really could be called playing, also may prevent mental decline amongst healthy older people and help them to continue independent living.  Even a few years may make a difference in research being done that could stop or cure many mental diseases of the elderly.

Boring facts aside - I think that I will do a little, ongoing series of fun stuff that may boggle the brain.  Every now and then I come across a simple little photo that is somewhat of a brain teaser.  I will share those, even if I can't figure them out.

Here is the first of this series.
